Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s Santa flying over Hampton Roads! Santa Claus is expected to take flight in a Navy helicopter for Hampton Roads’ annual tradition.
For the past two years, Santa has taken flight ahead of Christmas with the help of the Fleet Angels of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC).
This flight is used as training for Navy helicopter pilots and helps spread Christmas cheer throughout Hampton Roads.
Looking overhead during the flight, you can see a large Navy helicopter with Santa waving out the side to the people below.
This year’s flight will take place on December 7.
