How you can help with the Presidential election

As we near the election, you may feel anxious or restless at such an important moment for our country. But what many don’t know is that you can have a bigger part in your nation’s future than you think. Thanks to the Progressive Turnout Project, you too can get involved with the election.

As we near the election, you may feel anxious or restless at such an important moment for our country. But what many don’t know is that you can have a bigger part in your nation’s future than you think. Thanks to the Progressive Turnout Project, you too can get involved with the election.

The Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) is the largest organization known for voter contact and the perfect avenue for getting involved in the Presidential Election.

PTP’s main goal is to promote democracy and help get voters to the polls for every election. They engage and mobilize through canvassing, phone banks, and other voter turnout events.

If you want to turn your nervous energy into something productive, consider becoming a canvasser or caller in your community.

With canvassing, volunteers and workers go door-to-door in local communities to get undecided voters to the polls. Canvassing is a way to get people to go out and vote through personable, informative interactions. Canvassing might be for you if you’re a people person or aren’t afraid to make new friends. Not only will canvassing help you be social, but it can also help people feel more comfortable and informed about the election process before they hit the polls.

Not everyone feels comfortable knocking on people’s doors, but don’t fear! The Progressive Turnout Project also has phone bank programs to accommodate everyone who wants to get involved. With phone banks, volunteers and workers can still be social and bring humanity to the election, without having to go door-to-door.

PTP has a proven track record of helping with voter turnout. In 2022, they helped the Senate reach a Democratic majority along with other historical wins in local elections.

With this effort, thousands hit the streets and the phone lines to make this dream come true, as direct contact with voters is the best way to mobilize people to the polls.
