Friday (April 10)
Indivisible: Democracy Walk & Chalk the Walk, (Culpeper, 12 – 1 p.m.)
A walk and chat with fellow progressives, as well as a sidewalk chalk art event.
Williamsburg JCC Indivisible: VOTE YES Redistricting Event, (Williamsburg, 12 – 1 p.m.)
A peaceful protest in support of the redistricting amendment.
Suffolk Democratic Committee: Resist! Sidewalk Protest, (Suffolk, 5 – 6 p.m.)
A weekly anti-fascist protest on Main Street.
Saturday (April 11)
Loudoun County Democratic Committee: Early Voting Volunteering, (Leesburg, multiple times)
A volunteering opportunity outside of an early voting location in Leesburg. Volunteers will greet voters and give them information about Virginia’s redistricting campaign.
Indivisible: YES – Fight Back Virginia, (Fort Hunt, 9 – 11 a.m.)
A demonstration at the corner of Fort Hunt Rd. and Sherwood Hall Ln. to encourage neighbors to vote yes to redistricting by April 21.
Indivisible NOVA West: Book Club – “How Democracies Die”, (RSVP for address, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.)
A book club meeting covering the novel “How Democracies Die”.
Sunday (April 12)
Indivisible NOVA West: Let’s Go Hiking Event, (Clifton, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
A relaxing hike hosted by Indivisible NOVA West.
Indivisible: Stand Together Sundays, (Newport News, 1 – 2 p.m.)
A peaceful weekly protest. This week’s theme is bring your own sign.
Indivisible: Signs of Democracy Arlington, (Arlington, 2 – 4 p.m.)
A demonstration protesting Trump’s authoritarian government.
Monday (April 13)
Indivisible: Mobilize Monday, (Hampton, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.)
A peaceful protest on the corner of W Mercury Blvd. and Armistead Ave.
Spotsylvania County Democratic Committee: School Board Meeting, (Fredericksburg, 5:30 – 10 p.m.)
Spotsylvania County’s school board meeting.
Tuesday (April 14)
Virginia Grassroots: Redistricting Community Town Hall, (Norfolk, 6 – 7:30 p.m.)
An informational meeting about Virginia’s redistricting.
Thursday (April 16)
RVA Indivisible: Monthly In-Person Meeting, (Richmond, 6:30 p.m.)
A monthly meeting for RVA Indivisible members.
Historic Triangle Democrats: April Meeting with Lt. Governor Ghazala Hashmi, (Williamsburg, 7 – 8 p.m.)
A meeting discussing the recent General Assembly session.
